Area of application
Both classes are particularly relevant for agricultural and forestry businesses, municipalities and horticulture.
Class L
Authorized to drive tractors up to 40 km/h and self-propelled machines (e.g. combine harvesters) up to 25 km/h.
Class T
Authorized to drive tractors up to 60 km/h (also with trailer) and self-propelled work machines up to 40 km/h.
Requirement
If you hold a different driving license class, the basic material is reduced to six two-hour lessons.
Rewrite
Holders of an old Class 3 driving license (before 1999) automatically have Class L. A conversion is only necessary for the new EU card driving license, not for the driving license itself.
