1. Scope
These Terms and Conditions apply to the use of the platform Fahrlio by driving students and driving schools. The platform serves to connect theory and driving lessons and to facilitate communication between driving students and driving schools.
2. Registration and User Accounts

c) Driving Trainers
- Registration and use of the platform is free of charge for driving students.
- Users must provide truthful and complete information during registration.
- Each user is responsible for the confidentiality of their password.
b) Driving Schools
- Driving schools may register after successful verification by the operator.
- Use of the platform is free of charge for driving schools for the first month. From the second month onwards, use is subject to a fee (see § 3).
- Driving schools undertake to provide current and accurate information about their driving school (e.g., address, opening hours, contact details).
c) Driving Trainers
- Login and use of the platform is free of charge for driving trainers.
- Schools add trainers and must provide truthful and complete information during this process. Trainers are responsible for keeping the information up to date.
- Each trainer is responsible for the confidentiality of their password.
3. Costs and Payment Terms (for Driving Schools Only)
The following conditions apply:
- The platform is free of charge for driving schools for the first month. Thereafter, usage is subject to a monthly subscription fee.
- The payment for the monthly fee is due on the first day of each month in advance. Payments are processed via our integrated payment service provider.
- Driving schools can cancel their subscription at any time. However, the subscription will only end at the end of the current month and full functionality will remain available until that date without any pro-rata refunds for the current billing period.
4. Booking Appointments
The following conditions apply:
- Booking appointments through the platform is binding for all parties involved.
- Driving schools have the ability to set individual cancellation and modification rules for appointments within their profile settings. These rules are automatically enforced for cancellation or change requests.
- Responsibility: Driving schools are solely responsible for the cancellation and modification rules they establish, as well as their legal compliance. The platform merely provides the technical infrastructure and assumes no liability for the fulfillment, execution, or cancellation of booked appointments.
5. User Obligations
The following conditions apply:
- Users agree to use the platform exclusively for its intended purpose (coordination, management, and execution of driver training).
- It is strictly prohibited to provide false information, use the platform for illegal purposes, or harass other users.
- Driving schools agree to keep their offers, availabilities, and cancellation rules accurate and up to date at all times.
- The integrated chat and messaging feature must be used exclusively for direct communication related to driver training (e.g., scheduling lessons, organizational questions).
- Sending promotional messages, spam, chain letters, offensive, racist, sexist, or otherwise unlawful content is prohibited.
- Exchanging contact details for the deliberate purpose of bypassing platform services is not permitted.
- The platform reserves the right to review messages in cases of suspected misuse or violations and to temporarily or permanently suspend users for non-compliance.
6. Liability
The following conditions apply:
- The operator is not liable for the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of the information provided on the platform.
- The operator is not liable for damages arising from the use of the platform or the behavior of other users.
- Driving schools are themselves liable for the execution of booked appointments.
7. Data Protection
The following conditions apply:
- The collection and processing of personal data is carried out in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
- Users agree to the Privacy Policy.
8. Termination and Blocking
The following conditions apply:
- Suspension by the Operator: The operator reserves the right to temporarily or permanently suspend user accounts (of driving schools, instructors, or driving students) in the event of a serious violation of these Terms of Service, statutory provisions, or the rights of third parties, or if there is a legitimate interest on the part of the operator to prevent harm.
- Termination by Driving Schools: Driving schools can cancel their subscription and contract at any time via the corresponding platform features or in text form. Cancellation will become effective at the end of the current month. The right to extraordinary termination for good cause remains unaffected for both parties.
9. Changes to the Terms and Conditions
The following conditions apply:
- The operator reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions.
- Users will be informed of changes by email.
- Continued use of the platform after a change constitutes acceptance of the new Terms and Conditions.
10. Final Provisions
The following conditions apply:
- If individual provisions of these Terms and Conditions are or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
- The law of the Federal Republic of Germany shall apply.
- The place of jurisdiction is Kiel, provided the user is a merchant or does not have a general place of jurisdiction in Germany.
